~ General: Top Page Keyboard Shortcuts ChangeLog Tips ~ Feature Docs: Settings Snapshots Meshes Camera Lighting Reference Textures |
~ a.07 (11/03/2012): ~ - now runs on OSX! (though snapshots don't automatically open in your image editor yet sorry, you'll have to DIY for now!) - can choose between old lighting, and new wrapped lighting (wrapped is default) (pro only) - now you can change the light direction (pro only) - default camera is orthographic instead of perspective (ortho is just better you guys ;) ) - able to load additional reference textures (more info here) (pro only) ~ a.06 (17/04/2011): ~ - now .obj files made in 3DsMax (and anything else with silly extra spaces) should load fine - gui tweaks, changes and fixes - can resize window with + and - keys (pro only) - 4096^2 snapshots now supported (pro only, and only if your graphics card is ok with it) - 2048^2 snapshots are now pro only - can now turn off drawing margins, so you can fix seams yourself if you prefer. - can now toggle all meshes as selected/visible at once - lighting option for view and lighting export (pro only) - can load normal maps which effect lighting (pro only) - pixexix should go longer without crashing (though it will eventually crash, so still save!) - loaded models are now centered and rescaled, impossible to lose your meshes now ;) - prevents loading non-square textures (they wouldnt work anyway right now) ~ a.05 (02/04/2011): ~ - fixed snapshots to have proper transparency - 3D background colour is configurable - deleting the snapshot file doesn't render pixexix useless anymore - pixexix checks to make sure the snapshot file isnt still being written before loading it - changing normal/depth culling settings will redraw the texture now like it should (if its too slow for you, let me know, I may add a setting to disable it) - uv margins are now calculated before snapshots are taken, this fixes an issue with multiple meshes having margins go over real texture space - file browser's preview window view can be manipulated just like the main view - fixed rare 'save texture' bug - now the 'reset' button when selecting a texture works properly - settings can now be saved. this includes the path to the image editor. - added a button linking to the pixexix site ~ a.04 (29/03/2011): ~ - fixed alpha blending, should work just like a 'normal' layer in your image editor. - rejiggered all mesh and projection code to allow for models with more (much more) than 21k triangles. just remember that more triangles = slower ;) ~ a.03 (29/03/2011): ~ - fixed snapshots not opening in some editors (photoshop works now!) - tweaked file browser and added 'refresh directory' button - warning if you load a model with too many tris (will be changing mesh generation to allow more than 21k tris later) - pixexix now projects past UV edges, so no more seams (5pix border for now, might make it customisable later) - trimmed the filesize a bit ~ a.02 (27/03/2011): ~ - Massive change to the backend (should take up less memory and run faster) - Added orthographic view and perspective FOV options - redid how multiple meshes work - fixed a file browser bug - 'merge snaps' now deletes hidden snapshots, will revert in a future update ~ a.01 (25/03/2011): ~ - First Release |
